We always hear about a broadcaster jinx when something bad happens. Saturday with the South Dakota women’s basketball team trailing in the 4th quarter I mentioned on the Coyote Sports Network that South Dakota would need a “Duffy scoring explosion” in the final frame. She responded and scored 16 of her 18 in the final quarter (yes, I misspoke at the end of the clip). Sometimes it can work the other way for broadcasters!
